The Dubuque Area Writers Guild (DAWG) began as a group of writers who wanted to share their work with other writers and lovers of the written word.  Currently, we meet on the first and third Wednesdays of each month at 5:30 p.m. in Monk’s Kaffee Pub (located at 371 Bluff Street in downtown Dubuque). The DAWG also publishes an annual anthology of creative writing and art by local writers.
